Craig Willoth, OD resides in Ontario Wayne County. He is married with two daughters and three grandchildren. He graduated with a Doctor of Optometry from Ohio State University in 1968 and has done graduate work at St. John Fisher toward an MBA. He served as captain and clinic director in the Air Force at McDill AFB. He was in a private group practice for twenty-nine years before joining Reed Eye Associates fifteen years ago.
Dr Willoth is a past president of the Rochester Optometric Society and the New York State Optometric Association. He is a member of the American Optometric Association serving on and chairing numerous committees, project teams and commissions. He is a past member and chairman of the New York State Education Department, State Board of Optometry. He is a charter member of the Contact Lens section of the AOA.
Professionally, Dr . Willoth has been a clinical research investigator for Bausch and Lomb, Cooper Vision, Ciba Vision and Biocompatables. He was a member of the Institutional Review Board for Bausch and Lomb. He has published and lectured in the areas of practice management and contact lenses. He was a member of the RIT Advisory Board for Ophthalmic Assistants.
In his community he was chairman of the Ontario Planning Board for seventeen years. He was the first president and founding member of the Ontario-Walworth Dollars for Scholars.
He is a pilot and was a member of the Williamson Flying Club. He is a member of Monroe Golf Club. He and his wife enjoy travel with recent trips to Europe, Egypt,China and South America. He enjoys wine and gourmet dining.
